Belonging to the same demographic, our founder had faced problems that came with being a plus-sized fashion enthusiast all her life. The desire to wear trendy clothing that matched her personality was always dampened by the ‘impairment’ that was having a larger body than most. So much so that, at a time when women all over the world were using shopping as a stress buster, shopping as an activity was one that was the root cause of anxiety, sadness and tremendous self-doubt. And there you were, being forced to settle for lesser than your heart’s desire because you didn’t match up to society’s standard of ‘beauty’ and therefore went unnoticed by the big players in the fashion world. But then she thought to herself, if no one was going to stand up and elevate the standard of clothing in the plus-size segment, she would do it herself. And so, in the middle of this globally chaotic pandemic, the brain wave of an idea which was Crescentio came into existence and became the much-needed ray of hope and sunshine that our founder was on the constant lookout for. Nothing would make her and us at Crescentio happier than to share our moment of joy and pride with all of you and be a part of your journey to finding yourself once again or elevating your fabulous self to your full potential, one stitch at a time.
